Gong Mei

This 2022 Gongmei offers a comforting warmth, presenting deep notes of dried dates and a subtle, hay-like sweetness. Its smooth and gentle character creates a truly soothing and contemplative tea expe. It leans earthy, sweet and mellow.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
