Gong Mei

This Fuding Gong Mei offers a vibrant and balanced profile, perfect for an engaging daily session. Expect layers of juicy, fruity sweetness intertwined with delicate floral undertones, delivering a re. It leans fruity, floral and sweet.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Fujian, China from the Xiao Cai Cha cultivar. This batch is from the 2024 harvest.
