What does taste like?
This aged Darjeeling offers a full-bodied and robust liquor, revealing a rich aroma of fired wood and toasted nuts. On the palate, expect a muscatel sweetness gracefully intertwined with a subtle, war. It leans roasted, nutty and muscatel.
How should I brew ?
Water around 90–100 °C (195–212 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 5 g per 100 ml, 15–30 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Full boil is fine for most blacks. Don't overthink it.
Where does come from?
Grown in Darjeeling, Assam, India from the China cultivar. This batch is from the Summer 2020 harvest. The leaves got a medium roast after picking.
