Spring Bai Mu Dan

This exquisite King Peony presents a delicate yet rich profile, unfolding with a creamy vanilla custard and sweet icing sugar presence. Subtle floral hints of carnation mingle with fresh green notes o. It leans floral, sweet and creamy.

Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.

Grown in Fujian, China from the Fuding Dahaocha cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2021 harvest.
