About This Tea
What does White Jasmine taste like?
This intensely floral white tea offers an exhilarating bouquet of fresh jasmine, beautifully balanced by bright notes of green apple, starfruit, and pineapple candy. Its velvety liquor delivers a deli. It leans floral, fruity and sweet.
How should I brew White Jasmine?
Water around 75–85 °C (167–185 °F). In a mug, steep 3–5 min. For gongfu, use 4–5 g per 100 ml, 20–40 s steeps. You'll get to see how the flavor changes across multiple rounds. Pretty forgiving. Oversteeping by a bit won't ruin it the way it would with a green.
Where does White Jasmine come from?
Grown in Guangxi, China from the Fuding Da Bai cultivar. This batch is from the Spring 2025 harvest.
How much does White Jasmine cost?
Starts at $1.70 from Mei Leaf, or about $0.24/g. A 5g package gets you around 1 gongfu sessions at ~6 g each, which works out to about $1.45 per session. Explore more white teas on Teadar.
